Week 12 Master Key

The week of gratitude. Ever since our MKMMA class on Sunday I have been feeling extremely grateful for so many things. It started when I was writing out the affirmations and achievements on the index cards. The first time that I went through them something changed in me. My body began to be infused with all of these wonderful feelings. Most of my achievements that I listed were things that I had done for others. Some were things that I had done for myself but most were for others. Over the last few years I have been giving less to others that I had previously. What I found is that I truly miss those really great feelings that happen when you give to others.

Over the last several weeks I have promised to do the following:

Wherever I go I bring a gift. I may bring a compliment, prayer, trinket, flower … but I promise I will give something to every person I encounter.

This whole time I have been concentrating on how it is received by others. Although it makes me feel good to make others feel special I never really immersed myself in my own feelings about the situation. All of that changed this week. I have been fully present and fully aware of how much of an impact I am making on those around me. No accolades are needed on my part but I am now encouraging myself to truly feel each encounter with others.

My heart feels like it is expanding. My appreciation for others and the things that they do for me grows daily. People seem to be going out of their way to assist me. I am truly touched by this. As we all know we have been taught that the more you give the more that you get. Such a simple concept with amazing results.

My wish for all of you this week is that you too become fully present in your life and enjoy how much of an impact you have on each and every person that touches your world. Have an amazing week!!

  1. Great insight in being present in the here and now and enjoying life. So glad that you observed that you missed how you felt when you were giving to others. Is helping others one of your PPN’s?

    1. Hi Leanne!! Thank you for your kind words. Actually my PPNs are Liberty and True Health. It was just an amazing thing that happened as a by product of everything that we have done in the MKMMA class thus far. Have an amazing week!!

  2. Something about your post reminded me of listening to Randy Gage (one of my FAVORITE mentors). In a nutshell, he says, we donate/volunteer becuase we are “selfish”. Yes, we enjoy knowing we’re helping others, but we LOVE the way it makes us feel and there is nothing wrong that! It’s beneficial for all!
